THE Portland Trail Blazers bounced back from a huge loss with a stunning 110-106 victory over the Spurs on Wednesday in San Antonio (Thursday, Manila time).
Damian Lillard scored 36 points on 12 of 22 shooting for the Blazers, who were coming off a 23-point loss to a DeMarcus Cousins-led New Orleans Pelicans.
The Blazers notched their 30th win in 67 outings.
CJ McCollum came up with 26 points, while Jusuf Nurkic had 16 points and was a rebound short of a double-double.
The Spurs saw their win streak end at two, even with the return of LaMarcus Aldridge after two games out.
Aldridge was cleared after skipping games due to a minor heart arrhythmia and played 32 minutes, going 9 for 24 and finishing with 19 points.
Kawhi Leonard came up with 34 points on 12 of 21 shooting, while Patty Mills added 13 points for San Antonio.
