Marc Gasol hits game winner as Grizzlies overcome Spurs in overtime to level series

THE No. 7-ranked Memphis Grizzlies evened the series with the second-seeded San Antonio Spurs with a 110-108 victory on Game Four on Saturday in Memphis (Sunday, Manila time).

Marc Gasol hit a last-gasp 12-footer as the Grizzlies scored their second straight win to level the best-of-seven series, 2-2.

Mike Conley scored four of his 35 points and made an assist in overtime.

Gasol also had 10 rebounds, while Jamychal Green came off the bench to deliver 14 points.

Zach Randolph also had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Vince Carter chipped in with 13 markers.

Game Five is on Tuesday in San Antonio.

The Spurs managed to get ahead by eight points early, but the Grizzlies fought back and led by 10 in the fourth before the tight finish.

Kawhi Leonard scored 43 on 14 of 30 shooting, while Tony Parker had 22 points.

Pau Gasol was the only San Antonio player with double-digit rebounds with 11, and the Grizzlies dominated the boards 51-37.

The elder Gasol scored only eight.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 13 points for San Antonio.
