Chris Paul had 15 points and seven assists before leaving the game with a strained right hamstring as the Los Angeles Clippers won 93-80 victory against New York Knicks who sustained its seventh straight loss on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time).
Blake Griffin finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds, J.J. Redick added 15 points as the Clippers earned its eighth win in 10 games. The third quarter saw Paul hobbling to the locker room as he favored his right leg.
The Knicks' offense failed in the fourth quarter, managing only one basket in the final 4 1/2 minutes. Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and Andrea Bargnani had 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Knicks (3-11) have lost seven straight. Raymond Felton had 12 points and seven assists in his return to the Knicks' starting lineup after missing four games due to back and hip injuries.
