The Los Angeles Clippers narrowly averted disaster after they the Sacramento Kings 103-102 win Saturday (Sunday, Manila time) in a game where they blew a 20-point lead in th first half of the game.
Chris Paul finished with 22 points and sank the winning free throw with 2.5 seconds left. DeAndre Jordan chipped in 17 points and 12 rebounds while Blake Griffin chipped in 16 points and 10 boards for the Clippers, who have won 11 of their last 13 against the Kings. Sharpshooter J.J. Redick scored 15 points.
Paul also had nine assists, one shy of maintaining his NBA-record streak of 13 straight games with at least 10 points and 10 assists to start a season.
