C.J. Miles scored 16 points, Jeff Teague added 13 points and nine assists, as the Indiana Pacers had six players score in double figures in a 98-88 win over the Magic on Wednesday in Orlando (Thursday, Manila time), extending their winning streak to four games.
Miles made 4 of 5 3-pointers and 6 of 7 overall from the field in 20 minutes and helped offset a poor shooting night from Paul George (3/14 FGs).
Indiana relied on a small ball lineup for much of the night, using perimeter shooting to prevent rallies by the Magic. A timely 3-pointer from Miles extended the lead to 96-88 in the last two minutes.
Glenn Robinson III delivered 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench for Indiana. Thaddeus Young added 12 points, five rebounds and three steals. Al Jefferson delivered 10 points and grabbed seven boards.
Serge Ibaka had 20 points and nine rebounds for the Magic which has lost two in a row. Nikola Vucevic finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds as five Magic players scored in double figures.
Indiana has managed to defeat Orlando, now under former Pacers coach Frank Vogel, four straight times this season. Orlando has lost five of its last six games.
