CHARLES Barkley disagrees with Scottie Pippen’s assessment that he ‘was LeBron James before LeBron James.’

The former NBA star and now basketball analyst for a television network was asked on the Dan Patrick Show if the statement was correct, and Barkley pointed out the major differences between the seven-time All Star Pippen and four-time MVP James.
“Scottie was a terrific player, but Scottie wasn’t a guy who could get you 30 every night,” said Barkley.
“Scottie was a great defender, but he wasn’t gonna get you a bunch of rebounds every night.”
