    Carter-Williams helps 76ers edge past Magic in 2OT

    THE Philadelphia 76ers edged the Orlando Magic 126-125 in double-overtime on Tuesday night (Wednesday, Manila time).

    Michael Carter-Williams set his first career triple-double with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Thaddeus Young added 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Evan Turner had 24 points for Philadelphia.

    Arron Afflalo scored a career-high 43 points for the Magic and Glen Davis had a career-high 33. Victor Oladipo had 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to join Carter-Williams as rookies with a triple-double.
