THE New York Knicks fought back from an early double-digit deficit and ripped the Brooklyn Nets, 110-96, on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.

The Nets got ahead early, 29-19, and still held a five-point lead at halftime before they were limited to 16 points in the third.

The Knicks entered the fourth quarter with only a hairline lead but caught fire and cruised to victory, their third in seven games.

Carmelo Anthony scored 22 points and Kristaps Porzingis added 21 as the Knicks notched their third win in seven outings.

Derrick Rose came up with 14 points on 6 of 10 shooting for New York.

The Nets absorbed their fifth loss in eight games and are winless in three road games.

Brook Lopez had 21 points, but no other Nets starter scored in double figures, with Justin Hamilton coming off the bench to match Lopez's output.
