CARMELO Anthony scored 37 points and delivered the game-winning basket as the New York Knicks survived a comeback against the Philadelphia 76ers 110-109 on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).

The Knicks were trailing by a point after a basket from Jahlil Okafor when Anthony drilled a baseline jumper against Robert Covington for the lead with 0.3 seconds left.

New York then stole the 76ers' inbounds pass to hold on with the win and end their two-game slump.

The Knicks led by as much as 17 points and averted a total collapse with Anthony’s endgame heroics. He was 15 for 25 from the field, scoring 17 points in the 1st quarter.

Derrick Rose had 18 points, five rebounds and 3 assists for the Knicks. Justin Holiday added 14 points and 7 rebounds off the bench while Willy Hernangomez added 11 points, 9 boards and two blocks.

Okafor led the Sixers with a season-high 28 points and 10 rebounds. Covington added 20 points and boards while Dario Saric finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists.

Philadelphia had won four of its previous five game and dropped its six straight at Madison Square Garden.
