BROOK Lopez showed the way as the Milwaukee Bucks rallied in the fourth quarter to beat the Toronto Raptors, 108-100, on Wednesday in Milwaukee (Thursday, Manila time) drawing first blood in the Eastern Conference finals.
The Bucks had a flat start and fell behind by double-digits early but outscored the Raptors in the fourth, 32-17, to take the opener of the conference title showdown between top team and No. 2 seed.
Lopez scored 29, going 12 for 21 including 4 from 11 from the three-point line, while making 11 rebounds.
Giannis Antetokounmpo went 7 for 16 and finished with 24 points, while adding 14 rebounds.
Khris Middleton also had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Malcolm Brogdon came off the bench to score 15.
The Raptors, coming off a Game Seven against the Philadelphia 76ers in the conference semifinals, got 31 points from Kawhi Leonard and 30 from Kyle Lowry.
