CHICAGO - While covering Game Two of Cavaliers-Pacers series on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time) at the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland, SPIN.ph contributor Rex Alba noticed a commotion in the hallway leading to the home team locker room.
So Rex, who once penned for NBA.com Philippines and still writes for PhilBoxing.com, sprinted out of the media work room to check what the fuss was all about.
It turned out to be a celebrity sighting. Khloe Kardashian was in the house.
Rex, a licensed physical therapist who also dabbles in acting and had a role in John Travolta's 2016 flick I am Wrath, isn't quick to get starstruck. But he admits having a few jitters approaching Khloe, a 5-foot-9 knockout with green eyes hidden behind oversized shades.
Once married to Lakers star Lamar Odom, Khloe, younger sister to Kanye West's wife Kim, smelled like a bed of roses, Rex revealed. She was super friendly and had a body to, well, die for. After all, the Keeping up with the Kardashians fixture also stars in her own reality show appropriately named Revenge Body with Khloe Kardasihian.
SPIN.ph's encounter with Khloe was short like a mini skirt, but long enough to cover the subject.
"I love the Philippines," she confessed. "I'm here to support Tristan (Thompson)," the Cleveland Cavaliers center whom she's been dating since September last year. Speaking of dates, Khloe's half-sister, the luscious Kendall Jenner is rumored to be dating the Lakers' Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson.
After asking Rex, "is the picture good, you want to take another one?" the 32-year-old brown-haired celebrity princess vanished from the bowels of the arena and into her prime seats as she watched her now beloved Cavaliers spank the Pacers, 117-111.
According to Inquisitr.com, Khloe's denim line called Good American has sold out. Her show is a hit and her love life is blooming. To paraphrase a Rod Stewart song, some girls just have all the luck.
