Aaron Brooks picked up the slack for a an injured James Harden and scored a season-high 26 points as the Houston Rockets win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 112-101 Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).
The Rockets never relinquished the lead during the whole game as Omri Casspi, Jeremy Lin and Brooks made consecutive 3-pointers in a 9-0 run to start the fourth quarter to put the game out of Minnesota's reach.
Harden the Rockets' leading scorer with 24.2 points per game, was sidenlined by a sore left foot. Lin took his place in the starting line up and scored 19 points. Patrick Beverley had 17 points and made a career-high five 3-pointers.
