THE NBA-worst Brooklyn Nets added to the woes of the Hawks, scoring a 107-92 victory on Sunday in Atlanta (Monday, Manila time).
The Nets led by as many as 22 points and went on to score their third win the last four games, while sending the Hawks to a seventh straight loss.
Brook Lopez showed the way for the Nets, who took charge early, 43-21, and notched only their 16th win in 73 games.
Lopez scored 23 points on 7 for 17 shooting, while Jeremy Lin went 7 for 15 and wound up with 19 points.
Paul Millsap has missed five straight games with left knee tightness and the Hawks now hold a 37-36 record, still on track for the playoffs.
Kent Bazemore was out for the fourth straight game with a right knee bone bruise, and Thabo Sefolosha was also out due to a groin strain.
Dennis Schroder scored 24, while Dwight Howard had 19 points and 16 rebounds for Atlanta.
