Celtics punctuate series comeback with 22-point rout to eliminate Bulls

THE Boston Celtics completed its comeback from two games down, eliminating the Bulls with a 105-83 demolition in Game Six on Friday in Chicago (Saturday, Manila time).

The Eastern Conference top seeds made it four straight wins after dropping the first two games at home.

It was a huge wire-to-wire win for the Celtics, scoring the first six points of the game and never letting up.

Avery Bradley led the balanced Celtics offense, coming up with 23 points as the four other starters also wound up with double-digit scores.

Gerald Green delivered 16 points on 6 of 13 shooting, while Jae Crowder, Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas had 12 points apiece.

Boston next takes on No. 4 Washington, which disposed of fifth-seeded Atlanta also in six games.

Jimmy Butler scored 23 points on 9 of 17 shooting, while Robin Lopez was the only other Chicago player to score in double digits with 10.
