THE Washington Wizards rallied late to defeat the Suns, 131-127, on Tuesday in Phoenix (Wednesday, Manila time).
Guards Bradley Beal, John Wall and Bojan Bogdanovic took charge for Washington, which went on a 10-2 run for a 122-112 lead and notched their second straight win.
The Wizards recorded their 38th win in 62 games, tightening their grip on third spot in the Eastern Conference behind the Cleveland Cavaliers (42-20) and Boston Celtics (40-24).
Bogdanovic came off the bench to score 29 points on 5 of 9 shooting, making all 16 free throws, and also had nine rebounds.
Wall had a double-double of 25 points and 14 assists, while Beal scored 27 on 10 of 20 shooting.
The Suns saw their win streak end at three, absorbing their 43rd loss in 64 games.
Eric Bledsoe scored 30 ad Devin Booker had 25 points for Phoenix.
