WANGS Basketball-Letran pulled off a come-from-behind 83-82 win over Che'Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Monday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The Couriers carved out their second win in as many games, while Che'Lu now holds a 1-1 card after winning its opener last week.
Bong Quinto dropped 11 points in the final five minutes, hitting a jumper that allowed the Couriers to take the lead, 79-78.
It was back-and-forth after that, before Rey Publico scored a quick two with 4.1 ticks to go and Samboy De Leon missed a three-point heave as time expired.
"It (2-0 record) doesn't mean maganda na tinatakbo namin. Actually masama tinatakbo namin e. Down 19 tinrabaho lang namin talaga," said Wangs coach Jeff Napa.
Quinto finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Jeo Ambohot had 14 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks, JP Calvo scored 13 and Publico had 12 points.
The Revellers were paced by Michael Calisaan's 21 points.
Aaron Jeruta chipped in 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
