BOBBY Ray Parks has officially become part of the Dallas Mavericks roster in the NBA Summer League.
The Mavericks announced their roster and schedule for the NBA Summer League on Tuesday with the name of the two-time UAAP MVP in the 12-man lineup.
Parks will be joined in the lineup by the Mavericks’ first round pick Justin Anderson and Satnam Singh, who became the first Indian player to be drafted in the NBA when he was taken by Dallas in the second round.
Also in the roster are NBA campaigners Jordan Crawford, Jeremy Tyler, Darius Miller, Maalik Wayns, and Dwight Powell, and Parks’ fellow rookies Pablo Aguilar, Okaro White, Alex Stepheson, and Kevin Pangos.
In a Facebook post, Parks' agent Charlie Dy said the undrafted Fil-American will start attending practices of the Mavericks on Tuesday (Wednesday Manila time).
The Mavericks will open their Summer League campaign in Las Vegas against New Orleans on Saturday, July 11 (Sunday, Manila time) before taking on Portland on Sunday, July 12 (Monday, July 13 Manila time). Both games will be held at the COX Pavilion.
Dallas caps off the preliminary round against Washington on July 14 (July 15 Manila time) at the Thomas and Mack Center.
