Clippers stretch streak to four, hit 14 triples in rout of Hawks

BLAKE Griffin scored 17 points and made nine assists, the streaking Clippers made 14 three-pointers and Los Angeles went on to defeat the Atlanta Hawks, 99-84, on Wednesday Thursday, Manila time) to head into All-Star break on a four-game win streak.

J.J. Redick was 5 for 8 from downtown for 15 points, Austin Rivers added 13 and All-Star DeAndre Jordan grabbed 16 rebounds as the Clippers managed to beat the Hawks at home for the first time since March 8, 2014.

Dennis Schroder led the Hawks with 15 points, and Dwight Howard added 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Led by seven points from Raymond Felton, the reserves gave the Clippers the game's first double-digit lead in the second.

Trailing by two points in the second quarter, the Clippers reserves waxed hot from outside, burying five triples and outscored their Hawk counterparts 29-12 to take a 54-40 lead at the half.

Atlanta was unable to mount a counter and saw the lead inflate to 22 in the third.

The issue was pretty much certain in the fourth quarter as both teams sat their starters.
