Blake Griffin scores season-high 28 as Clippers deal Spurs second straight home loss

THE Los Angeles Clippers sent the Spurs to a second straight home loss, with Blake Griffin coming up with a season-high 28 points in a 116-92 victory on Saturday in San Antonio (Sunday, Manila time).

Griffin made 13 of 19 field goal attempts to lead the Clippers to their fifth win in six outings.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 16 points in 26 minutes of action in the Clippers’ second straight win.

Marreese Speights played huge in a reserve role, scoring 15 in 18 minutes of play.

LaMarcus Aldridge came up with 19 points on 7 of 13 shooting including 3 of 3 from beyond the arc.

Kawhi Leonard scored 14 points, making only 3 of 13 field goal attempts, missing all three shots from the 3-point line.

The Spurs have lost two straight at home and hold a 5-2 card.
