BLAKE Griffin scored 43 points, seven in overtime, as the Clippers nipped the Charlote Hornets, 124-121, on Sunday in Los Angeles (Monday, Manila time).
The Clippers ended a two-game skid and chalked up their 35th win in 58 outings.
Griffin played 42 minutes, making 15 of 26 field goal attempts, while JJ Redick had 22 points on 9 of 16 shooting.
DeAndre Jordan scored 20 and pulled down 19 rebounds, while Chris Paul also posted a double-double with 15 points and 17 assists.
The Hornets could not get a win run going after beating the Kings, and absorbed their eighth loss in the last 10 games.
Kemba Walker had 24 points on 11 of 19 shooting, while Nicolas Batum went 9 for 18 and finished with 31 points.
Frank Kaminsky scored 16 for Charlotte, which has lost 33 of 58 games.
