THE Los Angeles Clippers played strong in the middle quarters, creating more than enough cushion to survive an anemic fourth and beat the Utah Jazz, 88-72, on Monday in Salt Lake City.
Blake Griffin ad DeAndre Jordan starred as the Clippers scored 59 and held the Jazz to just 30 in the second and third quarters.
The Clippers made it three straight wins, recording their 34th win in 55 games.
Griffin wound up with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Jordan also had a double-double of 10 and 13.
Austin Rivers scored 15, and Jamal Crawford came off the bench to deliver 11.
The Jazz absorbed their third straight loss and 22nd in 56 games.
Rudy Gobert had 10 points and 14 rebounds, while Derrick Favors scored 13 for Utah.
Dante Exum also scored 10 for the Jazz.
