Filipinos' passion for the NBA is unmatched. It beats in the hearts of fans who get up at 3 AM to analyze a live West Coast game, or in the heated debates over who’s taking the championship at dinnertime.
Now, that connection is going further. ArenaPlus has officially been named the NBA’s betting partner in the Philippines. ArenaPlus is a PAGCOR-licensed sportsbook that streams live games and offers online betting experiences across major sporting events.

Launch Event with NBA Legend Derrick Rose
The partnership kicked off last April 11 at the Mall of Asia Music Hall, attended by no less than NBA legend and ArenaPlus endorser Derrick Rose—a surreal moment for fans at the star-studded launch.
With a lineup of NBA-approved betting experiences, themed free-to-play games, and exciting promos, ArenaPlus aims to upgrade the fan experience. "Having superstar athletes like Derrick Rose here sends a message that we are serious about our commitment [to the sports community]," says official ArenaPlus representative, Jasper Vicencio.
With ArenaPlus providing a platform for in-app engagement, fans can follow games closely, access game insights, and be part of a growing community of sports fans, going beyond spectatorship.
"This is about celebrating fan intuition — giving them a platform to test their knowledge, engage with the NBA Playoffs in a deeper way, and be rewarded for it," says ArenaPlus Head Erick Su.
Free-to-Play at ArenaPlus: The 100 Million MVP Bracket
Among the initial experiences created by the NBA x ArenaPlus collab is the 100 Million MVP Bracket, a free-to-play, bracket-style contest that turns fans’ sports knowledge and predictions into a competitive sport.
Users aged 21 and up can send predictions of the winners of all 15 NBA Playoff matchups. A grand prize of Php 100,000,000 goes to the participant with the most correct predictions. All entries are also included in a raffle draw.
"Filipino fans don’t just watch basketball—they analyze it, debate it, and make predictions," says Su. "With the 100 Million MVP Bracket, we’re turning that passion into an interactive experience."
Pro tip: To know who to watch out for this season, take it from Rose himself. “[The Nuggets have] been playing for a couple of years now. Even though Mike Malone is not there, the team still has grit. [Also,] the Lakers.” He adds, “[Most people] pick the experienced team because they've been through a lot…When you get a young team, they kind of get rattled from the atmosphere.”
While the 100 Million MVP Bracket officially ended April 18, fans can expect more NBA-themed games on ArenaPlus rolling in the future.
