ANTHONY Davis could be wearing a new jersey soon.
The New Orleans Pelicans superstar has requested a trade to basically a championship-contending NBA team.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN broke the news on Monday, Manila time, reporting that Davis, who’s in the last year of his contract, has no intention of signing an extension if and when the Pelicans offer one.
Agent Rich Paul has notified the New Orleans Pelicans that All-NBA forward Anthony Davis has no intention of signing a contract extension if and when presented and that he has requested a trade, Paul told ESPN on Monday.

The 25-year-old Davis is one of the league’s best players, averaging career-highs in points (29.3), three-pointers made (1), rebounds (13.3), assists (4.4), and minutes (37), on top of 2.6 blocks, and 1.7 steals in 41 games so far this season.
But the seven-year veteran and three-time All-NBA First Team member is playing for a Pelicans team that’s currently 13th in the Western conference with a dismal 22-28 record.
Wojnarowski reported that Davis, according to his agent, Rich Paul, wants to be shipped “to a team that allows him the chance to win consistently and compete for a championship."
So where could The Brow be headed?
