THE Pelicans fought back from 14 points down in the fourth quarter and edged the Charlotte Hornets in overtime, 121-116, on Saturday in New Orleans (Sunday, Manila time).

Anthony Davis had a monster performance with 38 points and 16 rebounds as the Pelicans scored two straight games for the first time this season.

Langston Galloway came off the bench to play 31 minutes and deliver 23 points for New Orleans.

Jrue Holiday continued his strong start after missing the first two games to care for his wife, finishing an assist short of a double-double, scoring 22 points as New Orleans got a win streak going after a huge victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
