ANDREW Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns and Ricky Rubio showed the way as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Dallas Mavericks, 97-84, on Friday in Minneapolis (Saturday, Manila time).
The Timberwolves made it back-to-back wins after downing the Denver Nuggets, and now hold a 23-35 win-loss record.
Wiggins scored 27 points on 11 of 21 shooting, while Towns came up with a huge double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds.
Rubio also had a double-double of 13 points and 14 assists for Minnesota.
The Mavericks suffered their third straight loss and 35th in 57 outings even as Seth Curry came up with another fine performance.
Curry came up with 31 points on 13 of 37 shooting, but Harrison Barnes was the only other Dallas player to score in double-figures with 20.
