RYAN Anderson buried two clutch 3-pointers in overtime to give the New Orleans Pelicans a 111-106 win against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time).
Anderson scored 22 points on 6-of-18 shooting and Jason Smith had 22 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds for the Pelicans. Jrue Holiday pitched in 19 and Al-Farouq Aminu finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds. The victory snapped a two-game skid for New Orleans.
Greg Monroe had 28 points and 10 rebounds and Brandon Jennings scored 25 points and Rodney Stuckey 20 for Detroit, who absorbed its third straight loss.
