    Blazers overcome Russell Westbrook’s career-high 58 points to beat Thunder

    JUSUF Nurkic hit two big baskets in the endgame and the Portland Trail Blazers overcame Russell Westbrook’s career-high 58 points, downing the Thunder, 126-121, on Tuesday in Oklahoma City (Wednesday, Manila time).

    Allen Crabbe showed the way for Portland, which saw a 12-point fourth quarter lead erased as the Thunder tied it at 116 with under two minutes to play.

    Jurkic hit two consecutive baskets to put the Blazers ahead 120-116 and they hold to stretch their win streak to three.

    Crabbe scored 23 off the bench, Damian Lillard came up with 22 points and CJ McCollum chipped in with 21.

    Nurkic finished with 17 points as Portland notched its 27th win in 62 outings.

    The Thunder could not stop the bleeding, absorbing their fourth straight loss and 29th in 64 games, even as Westbrook came up with another big game.

    Westbrook played 36 minutes, going 21 for 39, while also issuing nine assists.

    Victor Oladipo scored 16 and Enes Kanter came off the bench to deliver 11 points.
