AD unlikely to play Game 5 due to strained groin

ANTHONY Davis is unlikely to play Game Five of the Los Angeles Lakers-Phoenix Suns first-round playoff series on Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time), according to reports.

The 28-year-old Davis strained his groin in the second quarter of Game Four and was not able to return to the game.

The Suns won to tie the series.

Davis was declared day-to-day, but not likely to be able to see action in Game Five, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
