    Charlotte Hornets sign up undrafted rookie Aaron Harrison

    CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — The Charlotte Hornets signed undrafted rookie free agent guard Aaron Harrison from Kentucky.

    Terms of the deal were not released on Tuesday night (Wednesday, Manila time).

    Harrison, who spent two seasons with the Wildcats, played in five games for the Hornets in the summer league in Orlando. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and team highs of 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals while scoring in double figures in every game.

    Harrison played in 79 games at Kentucky, helping the Wildcats to back-to-back Final Fours. He averaged 12.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.2 minutes. He was voted second-team All-SEC last season.
