KEVIN Quiambao and Goyang Sono fell into a 0-2 hole in the best-of-seven series after Busan KCC Egis put on a dominant 96-78 road win on Thursday in the Korean Basketball League Finals.

The Rookie of the Year finished with nine points on 4-of-8 shooting alongside seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals, while William Navarro finally made his first appearance in the title round for the Egis, though he did not register any statistic.

It was a wire-to-wire victory for Busan, which came out firing behind a 31-18 first-quarter blitz to immediately take control of the tempo.

The Skygunners still tried to mount a comeback after trimming the deficit to just 69-66, but the Egis quickly responded with a decisive 12-5 run to pull away for good.

Goyang will try to avoid falling deeper on Saturday, as Busan heads home looking to move a win away from the championship
