DAVE Ildefonso was once again on the forefront of Abra's attack as the weavers battered Manila Batang Quiapo, 117-63, to claim solo leadership in the 2025 MPBL Season on Monday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Ildefonso finished with 25 points, six rebounds and five assists as he led the now 20-1 Weavers in the 54-point rout of the hapless Batang Quiapo.
Abra is assured of a playoff spot alongside fellow North Division powerhouses San Juan and Nueva Ecija, both holding 19-1 cards.
Four other players breached double-digits for the Weavers with John Uduba and Jolo Mendoza adding 11 points apiece while Mark Yee and CJ Austria chipping in 10 each.
Joshua David orchestrated Abra's offense to near perfection, finishing with 10 assists to go along his eight points, five rebounds and two steals.
Alfred Sedillo led the now eliminated Manila (2-18) with 20 points and nine boards while Decoy Lopez added 15 points.
The MPBL visits the Orion Sports Complex on Tuesday, with games pitting Nueva Ecija against Pasig at 4 p.m., Muntinlupa against Batangas at 6 p.m., and Bataan against Binan at 8 p.m.
