BINAN Tatak Gel stormed ahead at halftime and coasted to a 75-52 victory over Marikina on Thursday in the MPBL 2025 Season at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay.
Powered by Warren Bonifacio, Jaymar Gimpayan and Pamboy Raymundo, Binan built a 41-20 buffer and proceeded to its fourth straight win and a 13-7 record in the round-robin elimination phase of the 30-team tournament.

Binan now shared third spot with GenSan and Rizal Xentromall, trailing Quezon Province (16-4) and Zamboanga SiKat (15-6) in the chase for the eighth playoff slot in the South Division.
Gimpayan notched 14 points and 8 rebounds and was chosen Best Player over Bonifacio, who posted 14 points and 3 rebounds.
Other major Binan contributors were Pamboy Raymundo with 9 points and 3 assists and Renzo Subido with 8 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds.
The Marikina Shoemasters dropped to 4-17 as only Jethro Escoto, with 11 points and 4 rebounds, and Jay Yutuc, with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals, struck back.
The MPBL goes to the Las Pinas Coliseum on Saturday, with games pitting Ilagan Isabela against Davao at 4 p.m., Gensan against Cebu at 6 p.m., and Pangasinan against Quezon City at 8 p.m.
