Carl Bryan Cruz put up a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to carry the load for the Stars, who also got four points and five boards from comebacking Rabeh Al-Hussaini on the way to their fifth win in eight games.

Slaughter, returning from his campaign in the Japan B.League stint, suited up but didn't play. The seven-footer later said he expects to play 'very soon.'
