MOB outlasted Skyforce in double-overtime, 91-88, to rule the 2013 Danny Espiritu Cup basketball tournament crown on Sunday at the Makati Coliseum.
Mac Montilla scored nine points in the last 10 minutes for MOB and Erwin Cornejo made a clutch triple with two seconds left in the second overtime to give MOB the Game Three victory.
Leo Avenido had earlier knotted the match at 88.
Montilla finished with 28 points, Raymond Maconocido added 15 and Jeff Tajonera added 13 as MOB won its first Espiritu Cup title.
MOB swept the elimination round then got clobbered, 49-94, by Skyforce in Game One of the best of three title series. MOB bounced back in game two, 85-67.
MC Caceres scored 18 points and Avenido added 14 points for Skyforce, which finished runner-up for the second straight year.
