MIKEE Reyes had a triple-double while Marlou Aquino turned back the hands of time as Bacoor beat Caloocan, 86-68, on Thursday in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Datu Cup at the Batangas City Coliseum.
Reyes, a former University of the Philippines guard, had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists while the 45-year-old Aquino dropped 16 points and three blocks for the Strikers, who improved to 3-2 (win-loss).
Reyes became only the third player to complee a triple-double in league history, joining Bobby Ray Parks of Mandaluyong and Andoy Estrella of Quezon City.
The Supremos fell to 2-3.
Bacoor outscored Caloocan, 22-8, in the third period to turn a 37-35 lead into a 59-43 gap. The Strikers went on another 17-3 run to pull away for good.
