KIEFER Ravena and Bright Akhuetie carried Mighty Sports over Sta. Lucia, 80-67, for its fourth win in as many games in the PCBL Chairman’s Cup on Friday night at the Marikina Sports Center.

Ravena scored a game-high 22 on 10-of-16 shooting, while import Akhuetie had a monster double-double of 18 points and 19 rebounds to help Mighty remain the only undefeated team in the tournament supported by Hahn Manila, Ambucore, Spalding, LGR and Gerry’s Grill.

Prinze Eze, Akhuetie's teammate at Perpetual Help who replaced Landry Sanjo as Sta Lucia's import, made a strong debut with the Realtors with 15 points and 10 boards.

Akhuetie scored six of his total output in the last three minutes as Mighty turned a close game into a rout to deal Sta. Lucia its second loss in four games to fall into a tie for second to third places with Jumbo Plastic.

Meanwhile, SCTEX got a big boost from four new players who joined the team off a stint in the PBA D-League as it overpowered Euro-Med, 87-76, in the second game.

Raul Soyud, Byron Villarias, ex-pro Pamboy Raymundo, and Alfred Batino provided the extra firepower needed by the Road Warriors, which kept Euro-Med winless in four games.

Soyud, who played for Jam Liner in the D-League, led the way for SCTEX with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Villarias, a deadshot guard, contributed 17 markers on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc as the Manila North Tollways Corporation-owned franchise made it to the win column after losing a tough double overtime game in the opener on Wednesday against Foton.
