MGC-New Life Christian Academy captured the Philippine Ching Yuen Athletic Association Season 11 juniors volleyball title as the New Lifers completed a sweep of Jubilee Christian Academy in the finals.
Aisha Lauren Reyes, Angeline Stephanie Tan, and Sofia Caylen Cordova combined to lead MGC-NLCA to a 25-21, 27-25, 25-14 victory in Game Two in front of its home fans at MGC Gym in Taguig last March 21.
It was a dominant follow up to the New Lifers’ 25-11, 25-23, 25-16 conquest in Game 1, proving to be head and shoulders above the competition this season.
MGC-NLCA went undefeated in six games in the eliminations.
