ALLEN Durham is returning to Meralco.
The 36-year-old Durham is coming back to the Bolts, four years after his last appearance, as he looks to take care of their unfinished business in the Governors' Cup that opens Season 49.
Team manager Paolo Trillo confirmed Durham's return after the latter spent the last three years playing for the Ryukyu Golden Kings in the Japan B.League.

Meralco is fresh from capturing its first PBA crown in the Philippine Cup after four finals appearances, the first three of which with Durham when they lost to Justin Brownlee and Barangay Ginebra.

Despite playing in Japan, Durham has made a few trips to Manila to check on his former team.
Durham won three Best Import awards in the PBA, but a championship remains elusive, at least in the Philippines, for the former Grace Bible college standout.
During the 2022-23 season, Durham helped Ryukyu capture the B.League crown and even won Finals MVP during the series against the Chiba Jets. In the season, he averaged 15.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.6 steals.
Durham is slated to renew his rivalry with Brownlee, who is also returning for the Gin Kings for the Governors’ Cup.

The two, however, will only face once in the eliminations with Meralco and Ginebra in separate groups in a new format that has teams from the same bracket going up against each other twice.
