Billones, a 5-foot-9 playmaker who saw action in the PBA from 2002 to 2008, had 29 points in the Sea Lions’ 77-60 win over Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Raymundo, a 6-9 center who played for Globalport, had 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Sea Lions beat Lyceum, 77-58.
CEU, which is being handled by coach Egay Macaraya and assistant coach Yong Garcia, dropped a tough match, 73-78, to Our Lady of Fatima in its debut.
The Scorpions try to bounce back and hope to draw big games from Erven Silverie, Miguel Gastador, Patrick Aquino, Sonny Saber, Raymat Mil, Kenneth de Leon and Nigerian Aristote Mutombo in the tournament supported by Smart Sports, Ironcon Builders, Dickies Underwear, PRC Couriers and Zucchero Cafe.
