KENT Salado is still not out of the woods.
The management of Manila Stars Frontrow is set to file charges against the former Arellano star guard following his no-show with the team and subsequent decision to enter the PBA Rookie Draft.
In a statement obtained by Spin.ph, the Manila brass said they have already decided to file a case of breach of contract against Salado.

"We want to set the record straight that no one from Salado’s camp has approached the Manila Stars management to discuss his situation. This is even after he was given ample time to explain his side as we took into consideration that he may have simply overlooked his obligations with the team," it read.
"With this, the management has already given our legal team the green light to file and pursue the case."
Salado has never made an appearance on the Stars' team practices and has not suited up for the team in the ongoing Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup.
He was taken in the second round of the regular draft by Ginebra in the 2019 PBA Rookie Draft last week.
