MANILA is set to stage its first-ever Fiba 3x3 Challenger this September.
Top Filipino 3x3 teams Gold's Gym Pasig and Wilkins Balanga are expected to wage war in the 2019 Chooks-to-Go Manila Challenger at SM Fairview Events Center in Quezon City on September 7 and 8.
World no. 105 Joshua Munzon of Pasig and world no. 111 Alvin Pasaol of Balanga are hard-pressed to lead their sides as they aim to raise the cup here in our country against 10 other teams from all over the world.
As many as five Philippine teams can see action in the said tilt upon the approval of the local organizing committee.
The winner of the Manila Challenger will earn an invite to the 2019 Fiba 3x3 World Tour Jeddah Masters come October 18 and 19, where Patriot's Cup champion Phenom Basilan is already seeded.
