CALVIN Abueva has finally touched base with former San Sebastian teammate Ronald Pascual.
Abueva wrote “I miss this guy” on his Instagram Story that has him and Pascual speaking in what appears to be a video call from the PBA bubble in Clark. Abueva didn’t reveal any details of his conversation with Pascual.
Along with Ian Sangalang, Abueva and Pascual were part of the ‘Pinatubo Trio’ for the Stags that stood out as one of the most memorable trios in the history of the NCAA.
While Abueva and Sangalang are currently in the PBA, Pascual has fallen on hard times since falling out of the pro league in 2018. His brother Ronnel described him being in the “deepest, saddest stage of his life.”
Pascual has since come home to Pampanga to be with family.
Before going home, Pascual also met with another former San Sebastian teammate in Michael Miranda, who seized the opportunity to meet him after NLEX exited the bubble.
