FOR THE FIRST TIME in the Pilipinas Super League (PSL), the much-awaited matchup between two content creators in Harmz Hui aka Mr. Long Bomb and Jonah Renz Jacob aka Kobe ng Pinas took place.
Both were given a chance to showcase their skills in a professional setting and Jacob actually gave his heart out with a 14-point performance, despite only playing for a total of eight minutes.
However as the bout went on, a frustrated Long Bomb shoved an elbow straight to Jacob during the 6th minute of the 2nd quarter, which eventually erupted into a heated exchange between the two content creators.
The referees made the decision to eject both players out of the game.
Jacob wasn't pleased with the outcome and told reporters: "Ang ganda na kasi ng laro ko e, para sa akin unfair talaga e. Hindi ako makapaniwala kasi...ito na yun e. Ito na yung bunga ng training ko sabay ganun pa."
Monching Talisayon, the owner of Binan Tatak Gel, defended Jacob saying: "Hindi ko nagustuhan yung call doon ng mga nag-o-officiate. Dapat hindi nila tinapon e, hindi nila thrinow-out yung tao. Sana i-review nila nang maayos."
Meanwhile Long Bomb explained his side of the story saying: "Tina-try ko lang i-stop yung run niya and of course syempre alam ko na nakuha niya yung momentum niya pero naging pisikal ako sa kanya."
He then further elaborated: "Pride na rin kasi ayoko na nababastos yung team namin."
But at the end of the day, Binan Tatak Gel and Jonah Renz Jacob ended up demolishing Mr. Long Bomb and Top Tier Athletics with the final score, 133-86.
Rendon Labador enters
After the tussle between the two pro basketball players, another content creator in Rendon Labador expressed his sentiments on social media.
He posted photos of the clashed and said: "Nag-away na yung dalawang PWD sa PSL. Hindi magandang halimbawa, nasisira imahe ng may mga kapansanan sa mga ginagawa ninyo. Sports lang dapat mga boss!"
Long Bomb saw his post and shared on his social media page with the caption: "Sumali ka rin kasi Rendon Labador para tatlo na tayong PWD"
Jonah Renz Jacob even responded to Rendon saying: "Ako lang naman yung sinasabihan mong PWD na tumalo sayo ng dalawang beses. REMEMBER? Bumawi ka muna Taguro!"
