LYCEUM-Northwestern University (LNU), Pangasinan Ang Galing, and Acetown Valenzuela led the winners in Wednesday’s National Basketball League-Pilipinas (NBL) Youth National Finals 21-under division tournament in Quezon City.
Alvin Jay Ulip had 18 points in the LNU Dukes’ 75-61 win over Worldstar College, while Ethan Gonatice had 15 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals in Pangasinan Ang Galing’s 84-69 win over Mambulao Jersey Land.
Acetown had twin victories, beating Worldstar College, 86-64, behind the 16-point, six-rebound effort of John Michael Almario.
Chanzey Billups Garcia had 29 points in Acetown’s 91-60 win over Boss Maeng during a busy day for the Valenzuela-based squad.

LNU Dukes, Pangasinan Ang Galing, and Acetown have similar 3-1 win-loss records with one day to go in the eliminations, with the semifinals set to be held on Saturday.
