    Former Arelleno Chief Levi Hernandez powers Foton past Metro Racal and into solo lead in FBA

    FORMER Arellano guard Levi Hernandez scored 21 points to lead the Pampanga Foton Tornadoes to an 88-77 lead over Metro Racal Auto Center Artemis on Saturday for the solo lead in the Filsports Basketball Association Unity Games at the Oreta Sports Center in Malabon City.

    Mikee Reyes added 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, while Ed Rivera had 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Tornadoes, who scored their fourth win in five games.

    Metro Racal fell to 3-2 after entering the game with a share of the lead with Foton.

    Malolos Mighty BulSu (Bulacan State University) defeated Quezon City-University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, 106-100, to gain a tie for second with Metro Racal.

    Ernest Reyes had 26 points, while Dominic Fajardo scored 23 for the Mighty BulSu. Incoming UP sophomore Diego Dario had 26 points for the Maroons, (2-3) while Dave Moralde added 20.

    Numero Uno Antipolo Pilgrims defeated Laguna Busa Warriors, 85-74. Mark Montuano contributed 25 points and 11 rebounds as the Pilgrims improved to 2-3, while dealing the Warriors their fourth loss in five games.
