John Paul Calvo led the way for the Knights with 18 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals, while Bong Quinto added 17 markers, Jerrick Balanza had 11 and Edison Batiller made 10.
The Intramuros-based squad improved to 3-2, handing JRU its sixth straight loss.
“We performed better, effort was there, discipline was there, as a coach wala ka nang hihingin pa,” said a pleased Letran coach Jeff Napa.
Darius Estrella made 17 points for JRU, while Jonathan Mendoza added 11 markers and Karl Bordon chipped in 10.
Meanwhile, Adamson University survived Arellano University, 67-61.
Papi Sarr came with 15 points for AdU, while Jonathan Espeleta contributed 12 and Jerrick Ahanmisi added 11 as the Falcons bagged their third win in four outings.
Guilmer dela Tore scored 16 points for AU and Archie Concepcion made 11 markers. The Chiefs slid to 2-3.
