THE Laguna Pistons and the Dasmariñas Ballers advanced to the semifinals of the National Basketball League with big wins beating at the Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas gym.
Jeff Disquitado had a triple-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the third-seeded Pistons overcame the sixth-ranked Nueva Ecija Go Bespren, 87-75.
Mark Sornet delivered 14 points on 6 of 11 shooting as the No. 5 Ballers edged No. 4 CamSur Express, 76-72.
The Pistons will face the second-seed Parañaque Aces, while the Ballers battling No. 1 seed Bulacan Makabayan in the semifinals.
Krushev Ferrer scored 14 points for Nueva Ecija, as Alan Perea had 20 points for CamSur.
