LAGUNA continued to roll in the MPBL Datu Cup even as Pasay finally snapped its losing skid at home on Tuesday night.
The Heroes outlasted inaugural league champion Batangas City Athletics-Tanduay, 61-54, for their fourth straight win - and sixth in 10 games overall.
The Batangas Athletics fell to 4-6. Their 54 points matched the teams lowest output while their 29-percent shooting was the worst in franchise history.
On the other hand, Pasay stopped the bleeding at home.
Jan Jamon knocked in 15 points, including back-to-back jumpers in less than a minute to power the Voyagers to a 70-64 triumph over the Gen San Warriors.
It was Pasay’s third win in 10 games - and its first in four home games.
