Kouame and Agee have been instrumental in the team's success, playing in all five games so far.

Kouame is averaging 11.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, while Agee has been a standout with averages of 12.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game.

Abando has contributed 6.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest through his first four games.

In their absence, much will be expected from the young trio of Jonathan Manalili, Tony Ynot, and Allen Liwag.

These players will need to step up and fill the void left by their injured teammates against a hungry Japanese squad that is currently 3-2 in the standings.

Japan will be led by the young duo of Leon Watanabe and Yu Kibayashi, both standing at 6-foot-8.

Despite their impressive record, Tiu reminded his team that the championship is not yet secured and that each game remains critical.

"We need to win today or tomorrow against Chinese-Taipei B to make sure that Sunday’s game against Chinese-Taipei A will be for the championship," Tiu said.
