Creighton clobbers Longwood to make it 10 games unbeaten as Kobe Paras grabs share of limelight

A Kobe dunk with over eight minutes to play made it 91-41 for Creighton.

CREIGHTON kept its record unblemished, downing Longwood University, 113-58, on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).

Khyri Thomas and Marcus Foster scored 16 points each as the Bluejays notched their 10th victory in as many games.

All 13 player Bluejays fielded were able to score, with Kobe Paras of the Philippines delivering six points, his biggest output so far in the NCAA.

Paras played 12 minutes, making three of four field goal attempts, and also had a rebound and a steal as No. 10 Creighton dealt the Lancers their fifth loss in seven games.

Maurice Watson had 10 points, while Justin Patton scored nine and starting forward Cole Huff chipped in with six.

Martin Krampelj came off the bench to deliver 11 points and fellow reserve Toby Hegner chipped in with 10 points and two assists, including one to Paras for a jumper in the second half.

Khris Lane scored 12 points, while Jashaun Smith came off the bench to match that output for Longwod.
